The Generals forgot to show up for the first 40 minutes in Ponoka. The hard working Stampeders took it to the Generals and jumped out to a 4-0 lead. Finally Cochrane woke up in the 3rd period and showed the Stamps a glimpse of why they are first place in the HJHL. Cochrane stormed back and scored 5 straight goals to take the lead in late in the game. The Stampeders continued to work and they were rewarded when they tied the game with 30 seconds left. Overtime solved nothing. The Generals gave up a point in this game but hopefully they dont lose the lesson moving forward in the season. The Generals look to bounce back at home this weekend when they take on the Banff Bears on Friday. The North Divison leading Blackfalds Wranglers are in town Saturday at 730pm to square off in the HJHL marquee game of the weekend. See you at the rink!
