First Annual Golf Tournament

The Cochrane Generals held their first annual golf tournament at the Sundre Golf Club on Sat. Sept. 25, 2010.  We had a great turnout for the first year; thank you to all 80 golfers that participated.  We had great weather with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid 20’s.  This was a major fundraiser for the Generals.  Our participants included alumni, current and new players, sponsors, coaches and parents.

The winner of the tournament with a -9 was Dana Boothby, Trevor Beynon, Gary Bryant and Ray Carr.

We would like to thank Dave Holmberg for organizing the tournament and contacting all the alumni.  A thank you as well to our volunteers for the day – Chelsea Merrill, Porcia Turnbull, Karen Carr, Sabrina Dewitt and Kashtin Gordon.
