Gens goalie Braydon Yonin fends off a Bison attack led by Sam Callahan early in the second. The Bisons won 5-3.

For only the second time, the Gens went winless over the weekend but still have a grip on fourth place in the HJHL south standings.

The Gens lost on the road in High River to the Flyers, 6-2, on Dec. 6 before a pair of home ice losses to the Okotoks Bisons, 5-3, and the Medicine Hat Cubs, 6-3.

It was the first win in four starts by the Flyers over the Gens. The Gens have yet to win against the Bisons and are 103 against the Cubs.

The Gens are looking to turn it around this weekend against some tough opponents. The Gens head to Strathmore on Dec. 14 to challenge the  Wheatland Kings before a Sunday game in Sylvan Lake against the Wranglers, the top team in the north division.
