The Cannex Cochrane Generals are excited to unveil their 2026-27 home schedule, featuring 18 regular season games at the SLS Centre as the club prepares for another exciting season of Heritage Junior Hockey League action.
The Generals will open the regular season on the road with games in Sylvan Lake and Coaldale before returning home for their Home Opener on Friday, October 2. Puck drop is set for 8:00 PM as the Generals welcome the Airdrie Techmation Thunder to the SLS Centre for the first home game of the season.
The opening weekend continues the following night when the Medicine Hat Cubs visit Cochrane on Saturday, October 3 for a 7:15 PM start, giving fans two opportunities to cheer on the Generals during the season’s first weekend at home.
The 2026-27 home schedule includes:
- Eight Friday night games with 8:00 PM puck drops.
- Seven Saturday evening games beginning at 7:15 PM.
- Three Sunday afternoon games starting at 3:00 PM.
Fans can look forward to multiple home matchups against familiar South Division rivals, including the Medicine Hat Cubs, Coaldale Copperheads, High River Flyers, Agra Risk Wheatland Kings, and Carstar Okotoks Bisons. The Generals will also host the Airdrie Techmation Thunder, Red Deer Vipers, Rimbey Royals, Sylvan Lake Wranglers, Mountain View Colts, and Rocky Rams throughout the season.
The final home game of the regular season is scheduled for Saturday, February 6, when the Generals host the Carstar Okotoks Bisons in what could be a key matchup heading into the HJHL playoffs.
